Yummy Peppermint Bark

Ingredients :

12 ounces white chocolate broken into tiny pieces 

6 ounces dark chocolate

1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil
6 drops of peppermint Essential Oil (adjust for taste)

3 regular size candy canes (crumbled)


Equipment :

8 inch or 9 inch square pan

Parchment paper





Directions :

1. Place parchment paper at the bottom of the pan covering the entire base, make sure there are no creases

2. Melt the white chocolate in the non-stick pan on the stove top

3. Remove from heat, drop peppermint oil into the white chocolate and stir continuously. Start with 4 drops and taste, then add the rest of the drops as necessary. (Keep some white chocolate separate without peppermint)

4. Pour the melted chocolate  into the pan. Shake the pan to make sure mixture is even. Place pan in the refrigerator for 10 minutes

5. Dark chocolate  time!!  Now , when you melt the dark chocolate add the 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil

6. Remove the white chocolate pan from the fridge

7. Add the  dark chocolate to the mix, don't forget to shake it to make it nice and smooth. Return to fridge for 10 more minutes

8. Melt the remaining white chocolate

9. Create the last thin layer of the white chocolate

10. Sprinkle crushed candy canes onto the warm layer of chocolate. Once the entire surface is covered place it back in the fridge for the last time

11. Remove pan from fridge, pull the parchment paper at the corners to remove your bark. With super clean hands break the bark into pieces.


Taste your masterpiece (with a big glass of almond milk), then place it in holiday bags and surprise your friends!!!
